Develop BMPs specific to the salamander and support implementation of outreach & education to landowners and loggers active within the species’ range.
Participate in the discussion forum to share ideas and provide feedback about practical actions that companies can take to promote positive impacts on forest management, and reduce the risk of procuring wood from forests where important ecological values are threatened.

I support educating landowners, loggers and land managers on the characteristics of Cheoah Bald salamander and how current BMPs effectively protect or fail to protect their habitat. Information on this species and where it resides already exists; these resources can be used to educate those people who are most active on the land -- and thus most likely to cause adverse effects.
